Bread Baker

About the role

Da King's Table's is hiring a full-time, on-site Bread Baker in Ojo to produce a variety of breads and related baked goods. The baker follows standardized recipes, manages baking schedules to meet demand and keeps the production area clean, safe and organized in line with food safety standards. Accommodation is provided.

Key responsibilities

• Mix, proof and bake dough, following standardized recipes
• Monitor ingredient quality and ensure consistent taste, texture and presentation
• Manage baking schedules to meet demand
• Check equipment and coordinate with the bakery team so production aligns with service needs
• Assist with inventory and ordering of baking supplies
• Help develop new bread varieties that match the company's standard

Required profile

• Hands-on experience with bread baking, including mixing, shaping, proofing and baking various doughs
• Prior experience in a professional bakery or restaurant is preferred; familiarity with Nigerian baked goods is an advantage
• Ability to work on-site in Ojo, stand for long periods and lift ingredients and supplies
• Clear, respectful communication and teamwork with bakery and service staff

Required skills

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and bakery sanitation practices
• Strong time management and organization to plan production schedules
• Attention to detail in measuring ingredients and monitoring oven temperatures
