About the role
PZ Cussons is seeking a Sales Supervisor to manage a high‑potential territory and drive growth across its core consumer‑goods categories. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, improving distributor performance, and ensuring compliance with brand standards.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve agreed business objectives and KPIs for the territory, including sell‑in, sell‑out, focus category, NPD listings and promotions.
- Deliver sales driver objectives such as distribution, visibility, price and promotion.
- Manage territories delivering a minimum of 1 billion NGN per annum and ensure month‑on‑month and year‑on‑year growth.
- Analyze distributor performance against KPIs and work with the ZM to develop joint business plans.
- Conduct bi‑weekly stock checks, reconcile accounts, and manage repayment plans linked to capability development.
- Collect outstanding debt within stipulated timeframes and protect company resources.
- Maintain monthly journey plans for customer engagement and ensure retail operating standards are met.
- Coordinate floor sales merchandisers, control credit limits for key distributors, and safeguard POS materials.
- Support quality management system implementation and uphold safety, environmental and waste‑reduction standards.
Required profile
- First degree in any discipline.
- 1‑2 years of proven experience in marketing or sales with a track record of meeting KPIs.
- Direct experience with PZ Cussons sales methodology, outlet segmentation and brand advocacy.
- Valid driver’s licence and good knowledge of business objectives and market intelligence.
Required skills
- Computer Literacy.
