Remote Video Editor for Family & Lifestyle Vlogs

About the role

UCM Global is seeking remote freelance video editors to produce family and lifestyle vlogs for its fast‑growing digital content brand. The role involves turning raw footage into engaging 8‑15 minute videos while adhering to the brand’s visual identity. Work is project‑based with a fixed rate paid per completed vlog.

Key responsibilities

• Edit 1‑2 long‑form family and lifestyle vlogs (8–15 minutes each).
• Review, organise and select the strongest moments from raw footage.
• Build engaging openings and viewer hooks.
• Create a clear narrative and maintain strong pacing throughout each video.
• Use music, sound effects, captions, graphics and transitions purposefully.
• Maintain the established tone and visual identity of the brand.
• Implement feedback and revisions efficiently.
• Prepare final exports in the required format and deliver on agreed deadlines.

Required profile

• Strong portfolio demonstrating long‑form video editing.
• Experience editing vlogs, family or lifestyle content.
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling and audience retention.
• Ability to identify the strongest moments within raw footage.
• Strong English comprehension and excellent attention to detail.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable editing equipment.
• Ability to manage projects independently and communicate professionally.
• Openness to feedback and availability to communicate during UK working hours when required.
