About the role

The News, Copy & Creative Writer will create engaging written content for multiple platforms, including news articles, marketing copy, and storytelling pieces. The role blends journalistic rigor with creative marketing to inform, entertain, and persuade target audiences while maintaining the brand voice of Quantum Expressions Media Consult.

Key responsibilities

• Research, investigate and write accurate, timely news articles, reports and features for digital, broadcast and print platforms.
• Develop compelling marketing copy for websites, social media, email campaigns and advertising materials.
• Generate creative scripts, social media stories and long‑form narratives for various media formats.
• Edit and proofread own work and that of others to ensure clarity, grammar, style consistency and error‑free publication.
• Adapt and optimise content for different platforms, including SEO‑focused digital pieces, headlines and social media posts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Marketing, Creative Writing or a related field.
• 0‑5 years of professional writing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing news, marketing and creative content.
• Demonstrated understanding of journalistic ethics, copywriting techniques and storytelling principles.
• Strong research, fact‑checking and ability to meet tight deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, curiosity and a passion for storytelling.
