Head of Production

About the role

The Head of Production will oversee all aspects of media production for Quantum Expressions Media Consult, ensuring high‑quality content is delivered on time and within budget. This senior role coordinates multiple production teams, manages budgets, and upholds the company’s creative standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the full production lifecycle from concept to delivery, ensuring projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.
• Develop and implement efficient production workflows and best practices across all projects.
• Lead, mentor and evaluate production staff, fostering a collaborative high‑performance environment.
• Manage production budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, track expenses and report financial performance to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and safety standards, including copyright laws.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of media production experience with at least 5 years in senior production management.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality productions on time and within budget.
• Deep understanding of media industry trends, technologies and production budgeting.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with production management software.
• Expertise in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
• Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
• Understanding of video and audio production workflows, camera systems, lighting and sound equipment.
