Quality Assurance Officer

About the role

The Quality Assurance Officer will oversee the control environment across the bank’s business units, ensuring that internal control objectives are measurable, tracked, and aligned with COSO standards. This role provides quality assurance for internal control processes, supports data‑driven decision‑making, and helps embed a strong control culture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and review the control environment across all business units.
• Establish quality attributes, measure productivity, document evidence, and assess operational performance of internal control processes.
• Develop and execute routine review plans to improve and align internal controls with COSO standards.
• Track attainment of internal‑control strategy and Wildly Important Goals.
• Ensure team compliance with the Group Internal Control mandate.
• Collect and analyse data from units and internal‑control champions, producing reports and dashboards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to manage and track action items arising from control‑related meetings.
• Participate in planned and unplanned stakeholder engagements.
• Support documentation of annual goals and departmental alignment.
• Analyse audit lessons learned to enhance the control culture.

Required profile

• BSc in Banking, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Professional qualification in Data Analytics is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar internal‑control or quality‑assurance role.
