Networking & Cyber Security Instructor – Full‑time

About the role

APTECH Computer Education is seeking a full‑time Networking & Cyber Security Instructor to deliver high‑quality IT training at its Lagos centre. You will guide students through practical networking and security concepts, helping them build the skills needed for today’s tech industry.

Key responsibilities

• Teach assigned IT courses, focusing on networking, cyber security and related technologies.
• Provide hands‑on training and real‑world examples to enhance learning.
• Mentor and support students throughout their learning journey.
• Create a motivating classroom environment that encourages students to reach their full potential.
• Assess student performance through assignments, projects, quizzes and exams.
• Stay current with industry trends and integrate them into teaching materials.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching, training or equivalent industry experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in networking concepts and CCNA certification.
• Knowledge of cyber security, ethical hacking and related tools.
• Experience with Red Hat system and network administration.
• Competence in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA N+.
• Ability to configure live Cisco routers, switches, wireless devices and security tools.
