Automation & Cloud Solutions Team Lead

About the role

The Automation & Cloud Solutions Team Lead will drive the strategic direction and execution of cloud‑based and AI‑enabled automation projects. You will guide a team of engineers to assess, design, migrate, and optimise client IT environments across leading cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and evaluate the Automation & Cloud Solutions team, fostering technical growth and performance.
• Assess client infrastructures, identify improvement opportunities, and propose migration, automation, and cost‑optimisation solutions.
• Support sales by creating technical content for RFPs, RFQs and proposals related to automation and cloud services.
• Deliver technical presentations, product demos, proof‑of‑concepts and workshops to showcase solution value.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a technology‑focused or IT‑consulting organisation.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking and stakeholder‑engagement abilities.
• Professional certifications in relevant cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform.
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• DevOps expertise including containerisation, scripting, automation and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with Agile development frameworks.
