About the role
The Manager, Human Capacity Development & District is responsible for designing, implementing and monitoring capacity‑building and community content initiatives on behalf of OERNL. The role ensures compliance with the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) obligations under the NOGICD Act, 2010, and promotes local participation in the oil and gas sector.
Key responsibilities
- Design structured capacity‑building programs by conducting needs assessments and aligning training modules with organizational requirements and NCDMB directives.
- Coordinate cross‑functional input for curriculum development and validate content to meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Monitor implementation progress and participant feedback using digital tracking tools, maintaining accurate records for regulatory reporting.
- Evaluate program outcomes through post‑training assessments and performance metrics to measure impact and drive continuous improvement.
- Develop educational materials and awareness content (manuals, videos, toolkits) tailored to host community needs.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts and media partners to produce inclusive, culturally appropriate materials.
- Disseminate content via digital and traditional media platforms, expanding program visibility and strengthening stakeholder trust.
- Review community‑facing content for regulatory compliance, brand tone, and quality assurance.
- Track and measure content reach and effectiveness using analytics tools, surveys and feedback sessions.
- Cultivate strong relationships with NCDMB, vendors, host community leaders and local capacity‑building partners.
Required profile
- Reports to the Divisional Manager, Capacity Building & NC District Coordination.
- Direct reports include a Senior Capacity Building & District Coordination Officer.
