Head of Finance

About the role

Karmod Nigeria, a leader in modular construction and technical project delivery, is looking for a strategic and hands‑on Head of Finance to join the executive team in Abuja. The role will drive financial discipline, provide foresight, and ensure integrity across multi‑state projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage cash‑flow strategies for multi‑phase project payments, aligning financial planning with operational timelines.
• Oversee financial aspects of international procurement and importation, ensuring compliance with foreign‑exchange regulations and cost efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels, integrate financial reporting with stock movement, and ensure accurate material valuation.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across departments, delivering timely reports to stakeholders.
• Implement robust internal controls to prevent financial leakage, conduct periodic audits, and monitor compliance.
• Supervise finance staff, coordinate with project managers, procurement, and logistics, fostering transparency and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial leadership within project‑based or construction environments.
• Strong command of budgeting, cash‑flow management, inventory reporting, and import finance.
• Cost‑accounting experience is a bonus.
• High integrity with vigilance in fraud detection and prevention.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CFA are a strong advantage.
