About the role
The Financial Planning & Budgeting Manager will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive financial plans, budgets and forecasts for the African Medical Centre of Excellence (AMCE) in Abuja, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with healthcare regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse financial statements, conduct variance and cost‑structure analysis, and develop financial models to forecast revenue, expenses and cash flow.
- Design and maintain budgeting, rolling‑forecast and scenario‑planning tools, and provide dashboards and reports to senior stakeholders.
- Identify cost‑reduction opportunities, evaluate ROI on investments, and support strategic decision‑making with financial insights.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; MSc is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting, preferably in healthcare.
- Professional certification such as Certified Financial Planner or Certified Management Accountant is advantageous.
Required skills
- Financial modelling and forecasting techniques (including scenario and sensitivity analysis).
- Data analysis and visualization tools for financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as applied to healthcare organisations.
