About the role
We are looking for a Front Desk Officer to manage the reception area at our Lagos office. The role involves greeting visitors, handling calls, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors, clients, and guests in a professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls.
- Manage appointments, meetings, and conference‑room bookings.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
- Maintain visitor records and issue passes as required.
- Provide accurate information to customers and staff and respond to inquiries.
- Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Support administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, photocopying, and document management.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate communication.
- Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary.
- Assist in preparing reports, correspondence, and other office documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security procedures.
Required profile
- OND qualification in any relevant field.
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front‑desk, or customer‑service role is preferred.
- Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
