About the role
The Finance & Admin Officer will support the finance manager in improving accounting systems and handling administrative tasks for projects. This position is based in Lagos and contributes to accurate financial reporting and smooth project operations.
Key responsibilities
- Work with the Finance Manager to improve existing accounting systems.
- Sign project documents and upload them for invoicing on the client’s portal.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports and expense sheets.
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Provide general administrative support, including mail handling and appointment scheduling.
- Assist field project teams with financial and administrative work.
- Reconcile payments, track expenses, and process expense reports.
- Prepare analysis of accounts and support audit documentation.
Required profile
- B.Sc in Accounting.
- Professional qualification: ICAN (or equivalent).
- 3‑5 years of relevant finance or accounting experience.
Required skills
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software.
