Insurance Finance Advisor (Hybrid, Lagos)

About the role

Leadway is hiring a full‑time Insurance Finance Advisor based in Lagos. The role is hybrid, allowing flexibility to work from home while maintaining a strong on‑site presence. You will provide tailored financial guidance, helping clients select suitable insurance, investment and retirement solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Meet with individual and corporate clients to assess their financial goals and risk profiles.
• Design comprehensive financial plans that align with Leadway’s product suite.
• Explain complex insurance and investment concepts in clear, client‑friendly language.
• Prepare proposals, monitor client portfolios and recommend adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate with internal product, operations and compliance teams to ensure accurate documentation and regulatory adherence.
• Support business development through relationship management, referrals and cross‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong background in financial planning, retirement planning and investment analysis.
• Proven financial advisory experience with the ability to communicate options clearly and build client trust.
• Relevant academic qualification in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to compliance requirements.
• Prior experience in insurance, wealth management, banking or broader financial services is highly beneficial.
