About the role
The Chief Financial Officer will provide strategic financial leadership across the organisation, overseeing financial planning, corporate finance, treasury, investment, risk management, financial governance and business expansion. Reporting to the Managing Director and Board, the CFO will act as a key adviser to drive sustainable growth and profitability in the healthcare sector.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement the long‑term financial strategy and strengthen governance, controls and accountability.
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, performance reporting and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
- Design and execute corporate financing and capital‑raising strategies, negotiating with banks, investors and development finance institutions.
- Manage healthcare‑specific financial models, revenue optimisation and relationships with HMOs, insurers and financiers.
- Oversee treasury operations, cash‑flow management, liquidity, foreign‑exchange exposure and investment decisions.
- Provide financial leadership for business expansion, mergers, acquisitions and strategic partnerships, including due diligence and feasibility studies.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian financial, tax and regulatory requirements, internal controls and IFRS reporting.
- Lead, develop and mentor a high‑performing finance team across multiple locations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master’s degree or MBA required.
- Professional accounting qualification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA); CFA or CPA advantageous.
- Minimum 15 years progressive finance experience, including at least 7 years in senior finance leadership.
- Proven experience as CFO or Finance Director in the healthcare industry.
- Track record of raising at least USD 20 million in corporate funding.

- Monthly salary between ₦2,000,000 and ₦2,500,000, negotiable based on experience.
