Workshop Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Workshop Assistant to support our service team at our Abuja facility. The role involves preparing work bays, handling basic vehicle checks, and ensuring every car leaves the workshop in optimal condition. You will work closely with mechanics, ensuring that tools and parts are readily available, and you will help maintain a safe and efficient workshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Pass tools and prepare bays for technicians.
• Perform basic tasks such as fluid checks, tire changes, and battery tests.
• Ensure vehicles are clean, fluids topped up, and components are in good order before hand‑over.
• Mark off job cards to confirm completion of all work.
• Conduct test drives and verify that all checks are ticked before the vehicle exits the workshop.
• Maintain organized tools, clean bays, and safely dispose of waste.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of car parts and vehicle operation.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of responsibility.
• Good communication skills for noting customer complaints and coordinating with the team.
• Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and adapt to a fast‑paced automotive environment.
