Store inventory manager

Key responsibilities

• Manage the receipt, storage, issuance and movement of all factory materials and inventory.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records.
• Monitor stock levels and identify items requiring replenishment.
• Issue materials and accessories to production based on approved requirements.
• Track materials issued against individual jobs/projects.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile with system records.
• Investigate and report stock variances, losses and unexplained shortages.
• Monitor material usage and wastage across production.
• Ensure proper labelling, categorisation and storage of materials.
• Maintain records of tools, equipment and reusable factory assets.
• Receive and verify materials delivered by suppliers.
• Work closely with Procurement, Production, QS and Factory Administration.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.
• Establish and maintain minimum/maximum stock levels.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, security and organisation of the store.
• Implement systems that improve stock accuracy, accountability and inventory efficiency.

Required profile

• A minimum of 3 years of experience
• A minimum of an OND in a related field
