Senior Geologist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geologist to lead and supervise our geological exploration programmes. You will be responsible for planning field activities, interpreting data, and delivering technical recommendations that drive our mineral discovery efforts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise geological exploration and field programmes.
• Lead geological mapping, sampling, drilling, core logging and field investigations.
• Interpret geological, geochemical, geophysical and drilling data.
• Develop and maintain geological models, maps, sections and exploration databases.
• Provide technical guidance to junior geologists and field personnel.
• Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations and exploration recommendations.
• Assist management in developing exploration strategies, programmes and budgets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Geoscience or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in mineral exploration or mining.
• Proven ability to lead and supervise junior geologists and field teams.
• Strong analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, reporting and teamwork skills.
