Workflow Analyst

About the role

Airtel Africa is hiring a Workflow Analyst to analyze and improve IT document business processes so they are efficient, accurate and cost-effective. The analyst identifies bottlenecks in IT processes, especially cross-functional ones, gathers IT requirements, analyzes workflow data and works with functional and cross-functional teams to implement process improvements. The role reports to the Organization Enterprise Personnel.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes, map and document workflows and procedures, gather stakeholder requirements and recommend process improvements and automation opportunities.
• Monitor workflow performance using KPIs and operational data, create reports, dashboards and process documentation, and collaborate with IT, operations and business teams to implement changes.
• Manage the workflow roadmap and coordinate policies and functions with IT to ensure smooth operations and continuous system availability.
• Manage critical applications across the organization, including USDM, FIRS integration, Oracle ERP, middleware layers and other related apps.
• Ensure compliance with telecom, security, data privacy and regulatory standards, govern releases and deployments affecting customer platforms, test new workflows and track issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in system automation.
• Proven experience in requirement gathering, stakeholder management and project coordination across business, IT, vendors, operations and product teams.
• Excellent communication, documentation, status reporting and presentation skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
