Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Professional

About the role

Aarcalev Technology Solutions is seeking a full‑time, hybrid Cyber Security Technical Expert to lead vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (VAPT) engagements across applications, APIs, infrastructure, networks, and cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

• Scope, plan, and execute end‑to‑end VAPT engagements on diverse assets.
• Identify, validate, and exploit security weaknesses in a controlled manner.
• Document findings and produce detailed technical and executive reports.
• Present results to client stakeholders and recommend practical remediation aligned with industry standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design secure architectures and improve overall security posture.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methodologies and support security awareness and training initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging threats, tools, and best practices.

Required profile

• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex technical data and prioritize vulnerabilities.
• Effective communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Hands‑on experience with full VAPT lifecycle, including post‑remediation assessment.
• Experience supporting compliance‑driven assessments, gap analyses, and reporting against standards such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, and GDPR.
• Proven involvement in security education, awareness sessions, or knowledge‑sharing activities.
• Solid understanding of network, application, and cloud security concepts.
