Technology Specialist and Developer (C#/.NET)

About the role

TTC Tech is looking for an experienced IT engineer and developer to design, build and support an integrated, multi-client system for a major government parastatal. The stack is .NET and C# with Microsoft SQL Server, and knowledge of workflow software is a strong advantage. The position is full-time and on site in Abuja; applicants who are unwilling to relocate to Abuja or work on site should not apply.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test new application features in C#, writing efficient, reliable and maintainable code.
• Build workflow engine services in ASP.NET Core (process initiation, task assignment and routing, approvals, escalation).
• Implement regulatory business processes (registrations, renewals, licensing, approvals) from requirements to production.
• Develop and maintain the SQL Server database layer (multi-schema designs, audit trails, multiple database connectivity).
• Fix defects in existing functionality, including legacy components.
• Support and troubleshoot the network infrastructure the applications run on.
• Work in an agile Scrum team and support end users.

Required profile

• First Class degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Proven experience with workflow, BPM, case-management or approval-routing systems.

• C#.NET, ASP.NET Core (.NET 6+), Entity Framework Core, Microsoft SQL Server
• Computer networking (TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, DNS, firewalls)
• HTML, JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, AngularJS/Angular; REST and SOAP web services
• OOP, MVC, design patterns, SOLID; legacy ASP.NET Web Forms (.NET Framework 4.8)
• Git and Visual Studio 2022
