Technical Sales Engineer - Forklifts & Industrial Machinery

About the role

Harcadiax Systems Ltd is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to sell forklifts, heavy equipment and industrial machinery. The role involves building relationships with construction companies, manufacturers, logistics operators and industrial clients, recommending suitable equipment and closing deals while maintaining sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop sales opportunities for forklifts, heavy equipment and industrial machinery.
• Build relationships with construction companies, manufacturers, logistics operators and industrial clients.
• Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate technical equipment.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals and product presentations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain technical specifications and commercial benefits.
• Negotiate commercial terms, close sales and achieve assigned targets.
• Maintain sales pipelines, customer records and performance reports.
• Coordinate with service and after-sales teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• HND in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automobile Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant technical sales or business development experience.
• Experience selling forklifts, heavy equipment, industrial machinery or capital equipment is strongly preferred.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.

Required skills

• Ability to explain technical specifications and commercial benefits to customers.
• Prospecting, negotiation, presentation and relationship management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM or sales tracking tools.
