Team Leader, Nigeria Public Financial Management and Fiscal Reforms

About the role

The Nigeria Public Financial Management and Fiscal Reforms (NPFF) Team Leader will provide overall strategic and technical leadership for the programme, ensuring coherence and quality across workstreams while engaging senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic and technical leadership for the NPFF programme.
• Ensure coherence and quality across all workstreams.
• Lead engagement with senior stakeholders, including donors and government officials.
• Oversee programme planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
• Report to the Programme Director and contribute to strategic decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public financial management, fiscal reforms or related international development programmes.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex projects.
• Strong understanding of donor requirements and government finance systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
