Branch Manager

About the role

Kolomoni Microfinance Bank is seeking a results‑driven Branch Manager to lead branch operations, drive business growth and ensure excellent customer service across its locations in Ibadan, Saki or Ogbomoso.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and direction to all branch employees, supervising, coaching and motivating staff.
• Drive branch sales, deposit mobilisation and loan portfolio expansion through effective marketing and relationship‑management strategies.
• Oversee daily operations including customer service, cash management, loan processing and back‑office activities while ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor loan applications, approvals, disbursements, repayments and overall portfolio quality, managing credit, operational and reputational risks.
• Prepare and manage branch budgets, business plans and financial targets, controlling operating costs to maximise profitability.
• Prepare timely reports for senior management on performance, challenges, risks and opportunities, and represent the bank at community and stakeholder engagements.

Required profile

• HND, Bachelor’s, PGD or Master’s degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–10 years of relevant banking experience, preferably in microfinance, with prior roles such as Operations Lead, Assistant Branch Manager or Branch Manager.
• Strong knowledge of microfinance banking operations, products and credit analysis.
• Proven leadership, people‑management and business‑development capabilities.
• Good understanding of financial statements, budgeting, performance management and regulatory compliance (CBN, NDIC).
