Store Executive, Warri (Delta State)

About the role

Sun King is hiring a Store Executive for its store in Warri, Delta State, within the EasyBuy Direct Sales department. The role ensures that the store's overall performance targets are met in terms of quality and quantity. It is a permanent, full-time, onsite position reporting to the Regional Business Manager, East Central.

Key responsibilities

• Inventory management: receive stock, keep track of inventory from the warehouse, manage and issue stock according to FIFO standards, dispatch stock as required, maintain and update stock cards, keep an online Goods Received and Goods Issued log, perform daily cycle counts, receive faulty stock from the field and consolidate it for disposal, conduct monthly stock takes, and manage spare parts inventory and re-orders.
• Reporting: prepare a daily on-hand stock report for stakeholders and report daily issued-out stock for replacement or replenishment.
• Repairs and spare parts: take custody of repair tools and tool kits, carry out basic checks on faulty units before replacement, perform basic repairs on in-warranty returns, and manage spare parts.
• Store management: keep the centre tidy, arrange the shop floor by SKU, keep the repair workbench neat, follow safety procedures, welcome walk-in customers, identify technical issues and verify warranty eligibility on faulty components, and assist Energy Officers and coordinate with the Call Center on customer queries.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a recognised institution in a related field.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in a related role.
• Proven report-writing experience.
• Good communication and people skills, customer focus, integrity, teamwork, flexibility and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Sun King products is an added advantage; territory knowledge is also an added advantage.

Required skills

• Computer literacy with working proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.
