Store Accountant – Tally ERP 9

About the role

The Store Accountant will manage all accounting operations within the company’s warehouse, ensuring accurate stock records, proper documentation, and smooth coordination between departments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inventory accounting and stock valuation using Tally ERP 9.
• Process material inward and outward entries accurately and on time.
• Perform stock reconciliation and variance analysis.
• Verify dispatches and monitor inventory movement across the warehouse.
• Book sales entries and handle debit/credit notes and related documentation.
• Prepare MIS and stock reports for management review.
• Monitor aging stock and slow‑moving inventory.
• Coordinate with production, purchase, and finance departments.
• Ensure audit compliance and maintain proper documentation.
• Support smooth warehouse and accounting operations.

Required profile

• Fresher to 3 years of experience in a similar store accounting or inventory role.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of inventory management and stock reconciliation.
• Understanding of warehouse and stores coordination processes.
• Ability to prepare MIS reports and maintain accurate records.
• Good knowledge of debit/credit notes and financial documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
