Social Media Associate / Content Creator

About the role

Taeillo provides well-designed, functional, durable, affordable and sustainable home furnishing solutions to African millennials on a budget. It is recruiting a full-time Social Media Associate / Content Creator based in Ikeja, Lagos, to manage the company's social media presence, strengthen brand awareness, drive audience engagement and generate leads and sales. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation and social media trends, preferably within furniture, lifestyle, retail or e-commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement social media strategies aligned with the company's marketing and business objectives.
• Manage social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn and others.
• Create, schedule and publish posts, reels, videos, stories and product showcases.
• Develop content calendars highlighting furniture collections, promotions, customer experiences and brand activities.
• Monitor engagement, respond to comments and messages, and keep a consistent brand voice.
• Track performance with analytics and report on reach, engagement, leads and conversions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support and Marketing teams to support campaigns and drive sales.
• Monitor industry trends, competitors and emerging content opportunities.
• Manage social media campaigns and advertising to grow brand visibility and audience.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Marketing, Communications or Mass Communication is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or business.
• Portfolio demonstrating previous social media work is required.
• Creativity, attention to detail, organisation and ability to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong content creation, copywriting and storytelling.
• Social media management and analytics tools.
• Basic graphic design and video editing with tools such as Canva and CapCut.
• Digital marketing, audience growth and social media advertising knowledge.
