Brand Manager - Sports, Nutrition & Lifestyle

About the role

Alfred and Victoria Associates, a Nigerian ICT solutions company offering consulting, recruitment and training services, is recruiting a Brand Manager for its Sports, Nutrition & Lifestyle portfolio in Lagos. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the role combines brand management, digital marketing, customer engagement and market analysis to grow the assigned product portfolio and drive sales.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement brand and marketing strategies for the assigned products within approved budgets and business objectives.
• Run digital marketing across social media, e-commerce, influencer marketing and other online channels, and manage the brand's social media presence.
• Monitor market trends, consumer preferences, competitors and pricing, and analyse sales performance against targets to recommend promotional strategies.
• Drive e-commerce and digital sales with the Sales and Commercial teams, and plan promotions, campaigns, activations, product launches and brand-building initiatives.
• Manage digital advertising and campaign budgets, tracking ROI.
• Supervise creative assets, product content, promotional materials, packaging communication and brand presentation.
• Keep brand identity consistent across digital platforms, retail outlets, pharmacies, fitness centres, sports outlets and distributors.
• Develop marketing briefs for sales and field teams and train them on product features, benefits and positioning.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in sales and marketing, brand management or portfolio management.
• Experience in sports, nutrition, wellness, nutritional supplements, FMCG, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, fitness or related industries is preferred.
• Proven track record of managing products or brands from strategy through execution and performance monitoring.
