About the role
The Site Auditor will ensure financial integrity and operational efficiency at our cinema site in Victoria Island, Lagos. You will monitor sales, verify cash and POS transactions, and support the finance team with reconciliations.
Key responsibilities
- Detect fraud, irregularities, or unauthorized activities and escalate to Internal Audit.
- Monitor real‑time sales, reconcile daily cash, POS, bank transfers and online payments, and report variances.
- Validate cash evacuation, perform daily and weekly stock counts, and manage petty cash expenses.
- Oversee POS equipment, ensure proper bank mix, and maintain availability of printing supplies.
- Support monthly financial reconciliation, statutory remittances, and fixed‑asset movement reporting.
Required profile
- Minimum HND/B.Sc. with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes, and audit procedures.
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational abilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
