About the role
The Accounting Officer will manage and maintain financial records for the manufacturing process, ensuring accurate cost accounting and compliance with standards.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries specific to manufacturing.
- Perform cost accounting tasks such as inventory valuation, variance analysis, and overhead allocation.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports on manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze production costs and identify optimization opportunities.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, audit assistance, and compliance with accounting standards.
Required profile
- HND/BSc in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in cost accounting.
- Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency in accounting software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
What we offer
- Salary range NGN 150,000 – 200,000.
