Senior Retail Salesperson - Insurance

About the role

Heirs Insurance Group, a family of insurance companies offering products for individuals and businesses, is hiring a Senior Retail Salesperson in Lagos. This is a full-time hybrid position combining in-office and work-from-home duties. The role engages walk-in and referred customers, understands their insurance needs and recommends suitable products from the Heirs Insurance portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Handle sales transactions, prepare quotations and follow up on leads
• Maintain accurate records in the customer relationship management system
• Provide frontline customer service, resolve queries and educate customers on product benefits
• Meet or exceed individual and team sales targets
• Collaborate with colleagues in marketing and operations to ensure a smooth customer experience and consistent brand representation

Required profile

• Strong retail sales and sales skills, with a track record of meeting or surpassing targets in a retail or financial services environment
• Solid product knowledge, able to quickly learn and explain insurance products clearly
• Relevant experience in insurance, banking or related sectors
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, including active listening and clear verbal and written communication
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting
