Senior Human Resources Officer

About the role

We are looking for a strategic and results‑driven Senior Human Resources Officer to lead key HR functions within a specialised oncology and healthcare environment. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management and compliance while supporting the organisation’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of HR policies, workforce planning and staffing analysis across clinical and non‑clinical departments.
• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, probation monitoring and talent pipeline development.
• Handle employee relations matters, grievances, disciplinary cases and promote a respectful, inclusive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in healthcare, hospitals or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and proven ability to manage HR compliance and documentation.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll platforms.
• Analytical, organisational and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
