Non-Executive Director – Human Resources

About the role

The client seeks an experienced Non-Executive Director – Human Resources to provide independent strategic oversight of the organisation's human capital agenda, ensuring alignment with business growth and shareholder value.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to Board deliberations, strategic planning and corporate decision‑making with independent advice on human capital matters.
• Provide oversight of executive remuneration, succession planning, talent strategy and organisational effectiveness as a member of the Remuneration & Human Resources Committee.
• Review and challenge management proposals related to workforce, leadership, culture and organisational capability.
• Advise on people‑related risks, compliance and governance, ensuring policies meet ethical and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 20 years progressive HR experience with senior/executive leadership roles.
• Proven experience in the Real Estate industry.
• Previous service on a Board of Directors or Board Committee.
• Strong expertise in executive remuneration, succession planning, talent strategy and human capital governance.

Required skills

• Deep knowledge of HR best practices and governance.
• Commercial understanding of how human capital impacts business performance and risk.
