Senior Case Management Associate

About the role

Reliance Health is seeking a Senior Case Management Associate to ensure members with complex or high‑risk health needs receive safe, timely, and well‑coordinated care across Nigeria. You will lead the management of high‑risk cases, support junior staff, and drive quality improvements using data‑driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Manage complex, high‑risk, and escalated patient cases, coordinating care with providers, emergency services, and internal clinical teams.
• Monitor ICU and other high‑risk admissions, conduct onsite clinical reviews, and ensure timely interventions.
• Identify patient safety and clinical risks, investigate potential fraud, waste, and abuse, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of case reviews, decisions, actions, and outcomes.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and technical support to junior case management staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc) with a current, valid professional license in Nigeria.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification clinical experience, including managing complex or high‑risk patient cases.
• Experience in case management, care coordination, clinical case review, or a similar healthcare role.

Required skills

• Clinical case review and application of clinical guidelines.
• Investigation of fraud, waste, and abuse in healthcare claims.
• Field visits to hospitals and healthcare facilities for onsite assessments.
