Immunization Associate

About the role

The Immunization Associate supports the implementation, scale‑up and sustainability of digital solutions that strengthen vaccine supply chains and immunization programs across four Nigerian states. The role works closely with government partners, health system stakeholders and VillageReach teams to ensure high‑quality data and evidence‑informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact with NPHCDA, supporting information flow, joint planning and follow‑up.
• Support state co‑design workshops, operational planning sessions and coordination meetings, preparing materials, taking notes and tracking agreed actions.
• Track health‑facility use of last‑mile vaccine stock visibility tools and report performance across Kaduna, Kano, Katsina and Sokoto.
• Coordinate system testing, health‑facility verification, baseline data collection and help‑desk support.
• Monitor data quality, prepare dashboards and support project performance reviews and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in public health, international development or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years experience in public health, immunization, vaccine supply chain or health information systems.
• Experience working with Nigerian government health institutions and donor‑funded programs is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to collect, analyse and report quantitative and qualitative data for program decision‑making.
