Senior Business Development Executive – Loans

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Business Development Executive (Loans) to join a growing microfinance company. The role focuses on driving loan portfolio growth, acquiring quality customers, and developing strategic relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the SME and corporate market.
• Generate and manage a strong pipeline of prospective borrowers and business clients.
• Source and structure LPO financing, SME loans, bridge loans, asset finance, and working capital facilities.
• Build and maintain relationships with SMEs, corporate organisations, business owners, and key decision‑makers.
• Work closely with Credit, Risk, Operations, and Recovery teams to ensure seamless loan processing and disbursement.
• Achieve assigned monthly and quarterly business development and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in banking, microfinance, lending or financial services, especially in business development or relationship management.
• Proven experience in LPO financing, SME lending, bridge loans or structured credit facilities.
• Strong negotiation, presentation, communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet aggressive targets and operate in a performance‑driven environment.
