About the role
We’re hiring senior AI and cybersecurity engineers to design production‑ready solutions, lead projects and mentor aspiring engineers at Splex Labs. The positions are fully remote for candidates residing in Nigeria.
Key responsibilities
- Design and develop production‑ready AI and cybersecurity solutions.
- Lead technical projects and collaborate with distributed teams.
- Mentor aspiring engineers through hands‑on projects, technical sessions and code reviews.
Required profile
- 5+ years experience in AI/ML engineering (for AI role) or cybersecurity (for cyber role).
- Strong communication and proven mentoring or teaching experience.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment and reside in Nigeria.
Required skills
- Python programming.
- LLMs, AI agents, RAG, LangChain, LlamaIndex, TensorFlow, PyTorch.
- Penetration testing, cloud security, incident response, security operations, vulnerability management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern software engineering practices.
