DevOps Engineer

About the role

Reliance Health is looking for a hands‑on, pragmatic DevOps Engineer to join its Platform & Operations team. You will ensure the availability, performance, and security of infrastructure while enabling rapid, safe deployments across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and optimise AWS infrastructure with focus on cost control and resilience.
• Operate and improve the Nomad orchestration platform (migration from Kubernetes).
• Maintain Octopus Deploy pipelines for CI/CD across development, staging and production environments.
• Implement infrastructure‑as‑code best practices using Terraform/OpenTofu.
• Ensure platform availability meets agreed SLAs and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Implement security best practices, manage access control, secrets and environment segregation.
• Partner with developers to improve deployment workflows and participate in incident resolution and root‑cause analysis.

Required profile

• Strong experience with core AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.).
• Hands‑on experience with container orchestration (Nomad, Kubernetes).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Octopus Deploy.
• Experience with Terraform/OpenTofu for IaC.
• Familiarity with networking, load balancing and cloud monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional collaboration.
