Sales Representative - Home Décor & Interior Furnishings

About the role

B A Gladiators Ltd is hiring a Sales Representative in Abuja to promote and sell home décor and interior furnishing products to walk-in and prospective customers. The role covers in-store sales, lead generation, customer follow-up and basic stock and record keeping.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to customers professionally, understand their needs and recommend suitable products based on their preferences and budgets.
• Promote and sell home décor and interior furnishing products to walk-in and prospective customers.
• Generate leads, follow up on enquiries and quotations, convert prospects into customers and work towards assigned sales targets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, pricing, quality, availability and care requirements.
• Keep the store clean, organized and attractive, arrange, display and label products, and help with promotional displays.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with receiving and arranging products and take part in stock counts.
• Process sales accurately, document payments, issue receipts and keep records of sales, enquiries, orders and stock movements, submitting periodic sales reports.
• Respond to enquiries via social media and messaging platforms, turn online enquiries into sales, update customers on order status, follow up on satisfaction and escalate complaints, returns or product issues.

Required profile

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC; a diploma or degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in sales, retail or customer service is an advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.

Required skills

• Basic computer literacy and the ability to maintain accurate sales records.
• Ability to handle enquiries through digital channels and follow up on prospective customers.
