Sales Executive - Fabric Store

About the role

B A Gladiators Ltd is hiring a Sales Executive for its fabric store in Abuja's Marina area. The role combines face-to-face sales of fabrics with managing the store's online presence through social media and digital sales platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales of the store's fabrics by engaging walk-in customers, answering enquiries and spotting new sales opportunities
• Understand customers' fabric needs, preferences, budgets and intended use, and recommend suitable options
• Give accurate information on fabric types, colours, textures, prices, availability and product care
• Manage the store's online presence, including social media pages and approved digital sales platforms
• Create and publish content on fabrics, new arrivals, features, promotions and offers; reply quickly to online enquiries, messages and comments
• Keep accurate records of sales, orders, payments and follow-ups
• Monitor fabric stock and tell the Store Manager about low-stock or popular items

Required profile

• BSc, HND or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Mass Communication or a related field
• Experience in sales, retail, customer service, digital marketing or a similar commercial role
• Experience managing social media pages, creating content or handling online enquiries is an advantage
• Knowledge of fashion fabrics, textiles or the fashion industry is desirable

Required skills

• Familiarity with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
• Basic content creation, including product photos and videos and engaging captions
• Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, negotiation and selling skills
