About the role

Leadway is seeking a full‑time Sales Manager to lead its sales team in Port Harcourt. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, developing new business opportunities, and promoting the company’s portfolio of financial products and services across various industries.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a sales team, set performance targets and coach members.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage key client relationships.
• Prepare sales plans, reports and analyse market trends.
• Collaborate with underwriting, customer service and marketing to deliver solutions.
• Oversee pipeline management and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong sales leadership and team‑management experience.
• Business development and relationship‑management skills across corporate and individual clients.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a managerial capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• At least 2 years of experience in a financial institution, preferably insurance or related sectors.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM or similar pipeline‑management tools.
• Ability to analyse market data and track sales metrics.
