Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the development and execution of sales strategies for Botare Creation Nigeria across Ibadan and the wider Oyo State region. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and ensuring product availability in key retail channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales plans to meet revenue and market‑share targets.
• Identify, onboard, and manage distributors and key trade partners.
• Drive customer acquisition and retention across assigned territories.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide actionable insights.
• Conduct regular market visits, oversee field execution and reporting.
• Support and manage field sales teams where applicable.
• Track performance against KPIs and take corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure product pricing compliance, visibility and stock availability.
• Handle escalations from retailers and trade partners.
• Oversee trade activations, marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales performance reports and recommend strategic actions.

Required profile

• OND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field.
• 3–5 years of FMCG sales experience, with at least 1–2 years supervising field teams.
• Proven track record in distribution and market expansion.
• Strong knowledge of the Ibadan market and a solid network of distributors, wholesalers and retailers.
• Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong territory‑planning skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently across multiple markets.
