Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will promote and sell Zeem Global Publications' educational books and products across Ibadan and the wider Oyo State region. You will work directly with schools, bookshops, distributors and other educational institutions to generate new business and maintain existing relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Visit schools, bookshops and distributors to present the company’s catalogue and secure orders.
• Develop and nurture relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
• Prepare quotations, follow up on enquiries, process orders and monitor outstanding payments.
• Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to departmental goals.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date customer database and produce regular sales reports.
• Participate in book exhibitions, educational fairs and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate with Accounts and Distribution teams to ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• OND in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, Education, Social Sciences or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in sales, marketing or business development, preferably in educational publishing.
• Established contacts with schools, bookshops or educational distributors are an advantage.

• Willingness to travel regularly within the territory.
