Sales Executive – Pre-Opening Hotel Team

About the role

Hyatt Regency Lagos Ikeja is looking for a Sales Executive to join its pre-opening team, expected to open at the end of 2026. The hotel is located in the Ikeja GRA neighbourhood, near Murtala Muhammed International Airport, and is designed for business and leisure guests. The Sales Executive generates business opportunities, develops and maintains client relationships and achieves revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Sales and business development: identify and secure new corporate, government, travel trade and group business; build relationships with existing and prospective clients; conduct sales calls, site inspections and client meetings; prepare and present proposals, contracts and rate agreements.
• Revenue generation: achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets; maximise room, meeting, banquet and catering revenue; monitor market trends and competitors; support sales strategies and promotional campaigns.
• Account management: keep accurate client records in the CRM system, respond promptly to client requests and build long-term relationships.
• Collaboration and reporting: work with Revenue Management, Reservations, Events and Operations teams; take part in sales meetings, trade shows and promotional activities; prepare sales reports, forecasts and market intelligence updates.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality.
• Experience in hotel sales, corporate sales or business development is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of CRM systems is desirable.
