Sales Executive

About the role

The Showroom is hiring a full-time Sales Executive in Abuja (Marina). The role covers client meetings, product presentation, deal negotiation and reporting, with a focus on retail, fashion and FMCG.

Key responsibilities

• Meet and attend to clients, set up meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns
• Demonstrate and present products, and prepare and deliver product and service presentations
• Negotiate and close deals, contracts and packages
• Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs
• Seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media
• Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data
• Maintain accurate records and ensure stock availability for sales
• Handle client complaints or objections, gather customer feedback and share it with internal teams
• Collaborate with team members to achieve better results

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Sales Executive, Marketing Executive or in a similar role
• Proficiency in English
• Very strong customer relations skills
• Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
• Fast learner with a passion for sales, self-motivated and results-driven
• Aptitude for delivering attractive presentations

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of MS Office
• Hands-on experience with CRM software is a plus
