Sales Engineer - Oil & Gas

About the role

Enerflex is looking for a Sales Engineer to implement and support sales strategies for its AMS product line in Nigeria, manage the sales force and drive market share while ensuring sales profitability. The role covers selling equipment and aftermarket services, developing accounts in the manufacturing and oil and gas industries, and preparing project approvals.

Key responsibilities

• Sell equipment and aftermarket services to customers in assigned territories and manage existing accounts and prospects for new opportunities in manufacturing and oil and gas.
• Take part in sales and marketing strategies for Nigeria and develop techniques to analyse key customers and industry trends in oil and gas.
• Contribute to business development to meet revenue targets and develop pricing strategies, reviewing bids and proposals to meet minimum profitability thresholds.
• Prepare Project Approval Forms (PAFs) and economic justifications for new projects in Nigeria.
• Keep up to date with current and future trends in Enerflex products and services.
• Review actual financial results against forecasts with the country manager and controller on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Align processes across departments, create new reports and assist management on special projects.
• Comply with Enerflex HR, quality, HSE and company policies, and perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 10 to 15 years of progressive experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines without direct supervision.
• Office-based role with occasional site visits; flexibility in working arrangements is required.
