Field Officer - Business Development

About the role

My Oga Mechanic is a platform connecting customers with premium automobile repair services and spare parts, and also offers document renewals, accident claims, roadside assistance, fix-on-site repairs, vehicle inspections and driver's licence renewals. It is hiring a full-time hybrid Field Officer based in Port Harcourt to identify and onboard qualified service providers and business partners.

Key responsibilities

• Visit workshops, garages, service centres, spare parts dealers and other relevant businesses to generate leads and promote the company's services
• Build and maintain relationships with prospects, educate them on the benefits of the platform and follow up on leads
• Support the conversion and onboarding of potential partners and customers

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Mass Communication or a related field
• 1-2 years' experience in field sales, business development, marketing, customer acquisition or a related role
• Experience in automotive, mobility, technology or service-based businesses is an added advantage; good knowledge of Lagos markets is a plus
• Willingness to make frequent field visits

Required skills

• Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive and target-driven
• Professional certifications in Sales, Business Development or Marketing are an added advantage
