Sales, Customer Experience and Operations Specialist

About the role

The Sales, Customer Experience and Operations Specialist supports daily commercial operations by turning customer interest into sales, processing and fulfilling orders accurately, keeping reliable stock and sales records, and delivering an excellent customer experience from first inquiry through post-delivery support. Reporting to the Business Development & Operations Manager, this is a hands-on execution role covering customer service, order fulfillment, dispatch logistics, inventory administration, stockist support and digital channel updates. It is based in Ikoyi, Lagos on a shift basis.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries on WhatsApp, Instagram, email and direct messaging, recommend products and convert inquiries into sales.
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities and drive repeat orders while meeting or exceeding personal sales targets.
• Manage the customer journey from inquiry through order, delivery and after-sales support, including complaints, returns and exchanges.
• Verify payments, stock availability and delivery details, then coordinate picking, checking, packing and dispatch from the central hub.
• Liaise with courier and delivery partners and track shipments to final fulfillment.
• Maintain accurate stock and sales records and report on them.

Required profile

• Direct experience with Shopify (or similar e-commerce platforms) and spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets).
• Inventory control, stock reconciliation, stockist/distributor coordination and omnichannel retail operations.
• Preference for perfumes and cosmetics, luxury home interiors, fashion, beauty or premium consumer brands.
• Dynamic young professional; entry level.
