Sales Attendant

About the role

The Sales Attendant will be the first point of contact for customers visiting our pharmacy retail outlet. You will guide shoppers to appropriate health, wellness, and cosmetic products while supporting pharmacy operations under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess their needs and recommend suitable over‑the‑counter items.
• Provide basic product information and refer complex medical queries to the pharmacist.
• Operate the POS system, process payments, handle cash and issue receipts.
• Assist with prescription processing: receive, label, count, and package medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain patient records, file insurance claims and answer phone inquiries.
• Ensure the waiting area, shelves and dispensary are clean and comply with confidentiality standards.
• Manage inventory: receive deliveries, stock shelves, reorder low‑stock items and monitor expiry dates.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification: OND.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar retail or pharmacy support role.
