Sales Associate - Solar Energy

About the role

Scalein is looking for a motivated, customer-focused Sales Associate to join its sales team in Delta State, preferably based in Warri or Sapele. The role focuses on closing sales of solar products to residential and business customers and works closely with installers and technicians to ensure smooth service delivery. It suits people who enjoy both structured and informal market settings and are comfortable with physical outreach.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out physical customer outreach and cold calls to generate new sales leads.
• Identify potential homes and businesses for Solar Home System installations.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Deliver product demonstrations to individuals, groups and communities.
• Follow up on existing and previously contacted leads to convert them into paying customers.
• Coordinate sales activities with installers and technicians.
• Support sales and marketing initiatives to meet assigned targets.
• Develop and maintain a customer pipeline in Warri, Sapele and surrounding areas.
• Act as a professional representative of Uwana Energy and report regularly on customer needs, market trends, competitors and opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field, with at least 2 years of sales experience.
• Background or interest in the energy or sustainability sector is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive, self-motivated approach.
